Encouragement for the New Year

A friend of mine recently commented, ‘There’s a big difference between success and progress,’ and I couldn’t agree more!

It’s about this time of the year that the initial enthusiasm you felt when setting your intentions for the new year might be starting to dwindle. If this is you, can I offer you some encouragement today?

It’s great to know what you want, but for many of us, the challenge comes when our end goals feel distant and elusive. When the marker for success is the finish line 365 days away it’s not surprising that many of us lose our way.

Here’s the trick: Change your perspective. Instead of fixating on the far-off success, focus on the progress you're making. Break those big goals into daily tasks for quicker wins. We create a sense of achievement and momentum when we shift our focus to our little-by-little steps. Feeling stuck? Ask yourself, "What's one small step I can take today to move me closer towards my goal?"

Change your perspective!

What’s one small step you can take today to move closer towards your goal?
